Research Networking Programme EURO-XPRAG organises a Master Class on the topic of Pragmatics and Language Processing. The event will be hosted at University College London by the Department of Linguistics.
Participation is open to all interested researchers. Given limited space, however, participants are requested to reserve a place sending an email to info@euro-xprag.org with ‘Participate London Master Class’ in the subject line and with details (your name, affiliation and your interests) in the body.
Student Subsidies
Euro-XPrag will subsidise attendance for 15 student participants. Subsidies will take the form of two nights paid accommodation in a Bloomsbury hotel, near the master class site.
To apply for a subsidy, once you have registered, send a one-page CV and a 200-word text stating why you are interested in attending the master class. Those applying for subsidies are strongly encouraged to present a poster (see below); a brief description of your anticipated poster is welcome.
The application deadline for subsidies is 1 May, 2013.
Poster Session
A poster session open to all participants will be held together with a free wine reception on 28 May. To apply to display a poster, please send a one-page abstract or poster hand-out once you have received confirmation of a place at the master class.
The deadline for poster proposals is 1 May, 2013.
