Short Visit Grants - Call for Applications

The ESF Research Networking Programme is pleased to invite doctoral students and young scientists from the initiative "Translational Research on Antimicrobial resistance and Community-acquired infections in Europe", hereafter called the TRACE Programme, to apply for short term visits (up to 14 days) in laboratories of other participants of the TRACE group.

The Steering Committee will fund only high-quality applications with the priority given to applicants who come from or intend to visit countries that financially support the programme (Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom).

Application Procedure

Application forms should be submitted using the Online application form for Short Visit Grants.  Application guidelines can be found in the Guidelines for Grants with complete information on selection criteria, payment procedures, reporting, ESF financial rules for the reimbursement of travel costs etc.).

Short Visit Grant applications should include, in addition to the elements listed in the guidelines, a short description of how the TRACE Programme will benefit from the proposed visit is required.

This report will be published online.

Deadline

There is no fixed deadline for the submission of applications.  Funding decisions are taken by the TRACE Steering Committee.  When submitting applications please try to ensure that there is at least three months between the date of submission and the proposed starting date of the visit, to ensure that the Committee has sufficient time to evaluate the application.
