The ESF Research Networking Programme MOLTER is inviting proposals for the organization of a scientific workshop. MOLTER aims at stimulating European research on isotopic and organic chemistry exploration of carbon stabilization and biogeochemistry in terrestrial ecosystems and soils in particular.
Proposals should focus on a research topic within the scope of the MOLTER programme, with the aim to foster interaction and scientific exchange between researchers from different countries (priority will be given to applicants from contributing countries). Scientific workshops usually bring together 10-50 participants for two to four days to focus on a specific issue. The funding granted for the workshop is mainly intended for travel and accommodation costs of the participants. Costs for meeting facilities should be kept to a minimum.
Proposals will be assessed on scientific quality and relevance to the programme. Applicants should be established scientists.
