Workshop III on Molecular Engineering for Nanochemistry,
25-28 May 2000, Hindsgavl, Denmark
Approximately 60 participants attended the meeting which included a broad range of disciplines to ensure a scientifically stimulating event. The programme comprised both lectures and short talks as well as a poster session. A number of PhD students and young scientists were included.

Workshop I on Structuring of Molecular Systems at Surfaces
28-31 January 1999, Bruges, Belgium
A workshop on ordering of molecular systems on surfaces and techniques to study the obtained structures was organised by SMARTON in Bruges. The number of participants was limited. SMARTON covered local expenses of the participants and participated in travel expenses. The workshop consisted of lectures by leading scientist and presentation by young scientist working in the area of interest in the SMARTON project.
