Summary
The NANO Programme aims to promote the synthesis of ceramic aerosols and films using gas phase techniques, with the aim of generating single-phase, or nanodispersed structural ceramic materials and electroceramics with new or improved properties.
Duration
Five years, from 1995 to 1999.
Although the NANO Programme has now ended, support will continue for two joint ESF-NSF Symposia on Nanoparticles (2000 and 2001).
