The website set up for the Programme activities also gives information on a project that has resulted from the Programme: The Four Centres Initiative in which members of the Steering Committee agreed to continue collaboration.
A book, Social Inequalities in Health: New Evidence and Policy Implications was published in June 2006 by Oxford University Press. The contributors are major figures in their subjects, and combine state of the art reviews with the latest results from interdisciplinary research in epidemiology, sociology, psychology and biomedicine.
