Activities included:
From 7 June to 12 June 1999 the Network held a Workshop on Topological Defects in Cosmology, Particle Physics and Condensed Matter at the Max-Planck Institute for Complex Physical Systems in Dresden, Germany.
The Network's Winter School and Workshop, Les Houches '99, was held from Tuesday 16 to Friday 26 February 1999. It was jointly directed by Yu. M. Bunkov and Henri Godfrin ( both at CNRS-CRTBT Grenoble), who can be contacted for further information.
The network held its first Workshop in Saint Hugues de Biviers, Grenoble, France from Friday, September 26th to Thursday, October 2nd, 1997.
