Programme |
The scope of the Conference is to bring together scientists active world-wide in the theoretical and experimental investigation of charge transfer in biomolecules and complex systems that include a biological component (such as protein/surface and DNA/surface interfaces), to assess the state of the art in the field in terms of methods and knowledge.

For accepted participants and invited speakers only
All participants - including speakers, chairs & session chairs - are kindly expected to confirm their attendance (and, when applicable, to pay the conference fee) by filling in a Registration Form.
Closing date for Early Bird Registration and Fee Payment: 6 June 2011
FINAL closing date for ALL registration and fee payment: 20 June 2011
There will be no talks other than those listed on the final programme.
Recommended Poster size is A0 (Vertical). Use letters and drawings that can be read from approximately 100 cm distance. Posters can be affixed with cellotape and Blu-Tack.

Conference fees cover an all inclusive package which includes all basic expenses that occur during the event. For more details, click here.

Grants are available for students and early stage researchers to cover the conference fee and possibly part of the travel costs. Grants are distributed based on financial need and scientific merit. Grantees must attend the entire conference in order to benefit from the grant.
4 EUR of this fee is used to make this conference more ecologically sustainable. This amount will allow us to offset almost 100% of the CO2 emissions created by this conference and are part of our efforts to make ESF Research Conferences greener... For more information, please click here.

Universitätszentrum Obergurgl, Ötz Valley, near Innsbruck, Austria
The Obergurgl University Centre is located at an altitude of 1940 metres, in the highest glacial village in the Tyrol, at the end of the Ötz Valley and surrounded by numerous three-thousand metre peaks.
