ESF Conferences travel update: volcanic ash cloud still affecting travel conditions in Europe

Due to the current transport difficulties across Europe, there is a possibility that our conference programmes may not be able to go ahead as planned. Nevertheless, our conferences will take place on the scheduled dates whenever possible and we aim to make the information available for all participants after the event in electronic form. Together with the conference chairs, we are continuously updating the programme and participation lists.

Please help us to plan ahead accordingly by filling in THIS FORM as soon as you have information concerning your travel but 24 hours before the conference start at the very latest.

REIMBURSEMENT
Please note that ESF can not be held responsible for any costs arising from alternative transport itineraries. In the unlikely event of a conference cancellation, we will inform you at least 12 hours before the conference start. In case of a cancellation, further information concerning conference costs that cannot be recuped from your transport provider will be communicated to you via email.

For paying participants we will do our utmost to reimburse a percentage of the conference fee. More information will be communicated by email in the event that this will be the case.

ONLINE FOLLOW UP:
For any conference that is unable to go ahead in the usual way, we will create a dedicated online space for conference participants to share presentations and correspond with one another. More information will be communicated by email in this instance.
