How to submit a Science Meeting proposal?

Applications should be submitted online at least 3 months before the planned starting date of the event.

Please use this online Application form  to submit your science meeting proposal (workshop, conference, school).

Proposals must demonstrate a high relevance to the EARTHTIME-EU scientific community in terms of novelty, originality and timeliness, and will be assessed by the EARTHTIME-EU Steering Committee.

Successful proponents will be responsible for the scientific quality of the conference and will be required to submit a short report. The maximum conference grant awarded will be €20,000.

Short Visit Grants (up to 15 days)

How to sumbit a Short Visit proposal ?

Please use this online Application form to submit your proposal.

Short Visit Grant applications should include the following information:

- A short description of the proposed project work, or practical course to be attended (up to 250 words) with the aims of the visit
- A curriculum vitae of two A4 pages maximum
- Full address details of the prospective host(s) or full details of the practical course.
- Proposed starting date and duration
- Estimated travel costs

Exchange Grants (from 2 weeks to 6 months)

 

How to sumibt an Exchange Grant proposal ?

Please use this online Application form to sumbit your proposal.

Exchange Grant applications should include the following information:

- A description of the proposed project work (up to 1000 words) with the aims and justification of the visit
- A curriculum vitae of two A4 pages maximum, including a resume of research experience and a list of five most recent publications
- A letter of recommendation from someone familiar with the applicant's work
- A letter of acceptance from the host at the receiving institute
- Full address details of the prospective host(s)
- Details of the host's research facilities
- Proposed starting date and duration
- Estimated travel costs
