Selected proceedings of the ESF/COST high level research conference "Networked Humanities: Art History on the Web" are now published in open access form at http://www.kunstgeschichte-ejournal.net/view/event/Networked_Humanities.html
The conference - which took place in Acquafredda di Maratea, Italy in October 2010 - succeded in bringing together art historians and other researchers in order to investigate the intersection between the web and collaborative research processes, via an examination of electronic media-based cooperative models in the history of art and beyond.
As the ESF Standing Committee for the Humanities rapporteur, Prof. Claudine Moulin, put it:
"The conference can be summed up as extremely successful, with very good contributions and interesting/forward looking discussions. The conference chair (Prof. Dr. Hubertus Kohle) did a great job!."
