Elementary steps of layer growth in the fabrication of novel materials by atomic layer epitaxy (ALENET)

Short-term Fellowships

are for qualified young scientists who need further training and expertise in other experimental methods for a fruitful continuation and broadening of their research scopes. The fellowships are for a period of up to three months.

Visiting Grants

cover the cost of short visits (up to one month) of senior researchers working in the area of ALENET. Applications for Visiting Grants are possible any time.The grant will cover the costs for travel (one trip on the basis of APEX fares or 2nd class train), accommodation (on a bed and breakfast basis) and meals.

Applications should include.
- applicant’s title, name, postal address, telephone/fax numbers, email address;
- name and address of propective host, telephone/fax numbers, email address;
- date and duration of the proposed stay/visit
- a description of the planned visit/stay.
Grantees will be requested to provide a written scientific report at the end of their grants/fellowships.
