The Graphene Week 2011 conference will be devoted to the science and technology of graphene, advances in its growth and chemical processing, manufacturing graphene-based devices and studies of electronic transport, investigation of physical properties using ARPES, STM and AFM, emerging applications of this new material. It will also address studies of optical properties of graphene and their applications in optoelectronics, graphene manufacturing by mechanical and chemical exfoliation, synthesis on SiC, and growth on metals and semiconductors.

For accepted participants and invited speakers only
All participants - including speakers, chairs & session chairs - are kindly expected to confirm their attendance (and, when applicable, to pay the conference fee) by filling in the Registration Form.
Due to a high number of applications received and to a long waiting list, all participants are expected to confirm their attendance by registering online by 8 March 2011. Please note that if you will not register by this deadline your space and/or grant will be given to another researcher. |

There will be no talks other than those listed on the final programme.
Recommended Poster size is A0 (Vertical). Use letters and drawings that can be read from approximately 100 cm distance.
Posters can be fixed on boards with pins.

Practical Information |
Universitätszentrum Obergurgl, Ötz Valley, near Innsbruck, Austria
The Obergurgl University Centre is located at an altitude of 1940 metres, in the highest glacial village in the Tyrol, at the end of the Ötz Valley and surrounded by numerous three-thousand metre peaks.
Detailed information on all practical aspects of the conference are available from the Practical Information Guide.
Buses will be arranged on arrival day from Munich airport and from Innsbruck trainstation and airport to Obergurlg. The journey takes approximately 3 hours from Munich and 1,5 hours from Innsbruck, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
Please note that it is advisable to book flights which arrive in the morning on 24 April 2011 and depart late afternoon on 29 April 2011.
Bus departure times on Sunday, 24 April
- From Munich airport only: 15:00 - Meeting point at Terminal 2, bus parking spot
- From Innsbruck rail station: 16:30 – The meeting point is located on the east side of the station. Follow the signs towards the “Verladebahnhof”.
- From Innsbruck airport: 17:00 – meeting point: just outside the small airport building.
On Friday 29 April buses to Innsbruck (Ariport and Train station) and to Munich Airport will leave at 9:00.
