The first workshop of the ESF Member Organisation Forum on Evaluation of Funding Schemes and Research Programmes, entitled Expectations, Practices and Experiences, took place on 22 and 23 October 2007 . It was hosted by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) at its Berlin Office.
The objectives of the workshop were:
to present the approaches to and share experiences on evaluation of funding schemes and research programmes in participating research organisations
to identify areas in which cooperation could be fruitful
