Background
The Member Forum ‘ESF Member Organisations in Central and Eastern Europe’ (MOCEE) brought together ESF member organisations in CEE countries : Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic and Slovenia to develop a ‘catching up’ strategy for the social sciences in Central and Eastern Europe.
Aims
The aims of the Forum were:
to study the research needs of CEE countries in the social sciences,
to promote the dialogue between CEE and other European scientific communities,
and to develop a ‘catching up’ strategy, including effective use of the instruments of ESF, the EU and others.
