LEE (formerly LESC) will continue to explore many of the trans-disciplinary domains that require effective integration (Solar energy initiatives)
LEE (formerly LESC) has been particularly active in initiating and joining in synergy activities with COST Domain Committees (Setting environmental research agendas to support policy, an initiative - with three COST Domain Committees and SOC (formerly SCSS)), but also with ESF Expert Boards (International Polar Year- initiative, Life in extreme environments initiative).
LEE (formerly LESC) considers the EUROCORES programmes and Forward Looks to be the highlights of the Standing Committee.
