EUROCORES Networking and Dissemination Activities

Networking and dissemination activities are meant to encourage and facilitate scientific collaboration and deepen the impact of the research within a given domain or if appropriate across different domains and programmes.

Please note that the ECRP scheme in the social sciences operates differently to typical EUROCORES programmes. Please visit the ECRP pages for more information.

Networking Activities

Networking activities are collaborative activities bringing together scientists from at least two Collaborative Reasearch Projects, and on occasion external experts in order to discuss, plan and implement future collaboration and interaction. Possible activities include:

Science meetings

  • working group meetings, seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences
  • summer schools
  • training programmes and specialised courses (graduate-level and continuing-education)

Dissemination Activities

Dissemination activities are intended to deepen the impact of the research and strengthen the field by facilitating the dissemination of results while raising the profile of a EUROCORES programme as a whole.

  • EUROCORES programmes invited sessions at larger conferences; working group meetings (e.g. publication meetings).
  • publications: leaflets, posters, EUROCORES corner in a poster session,  books, exhibition booth or stand at a conference.
  • dissemination travel grants to support an active participation at conferences (organised outside the EUROCORES programme), while promoting the EUROCORES Scheme in general and disseminating the achievements of the programme in particular.
  • others: for any dissemination activities not covered by the above 3 categories, please contact the appropriate EUROCORES administrative coordinator.
