Graphene appointed an EU Future Emerging Technology flagship. The European Commission has chosen Graphene as one of Europe’s first 10-year, 1,000 million euro FET flagships. The mission of Graphene is to take graphene and related layered materials from academic laboratories to society, revolutionize multiple industries and create economic growth and new jobs in Europe. This conference will be held in Sevilla in October 2013, organised by the European Federation of Materials Societies (FEMS), together with the Spanish and Portuguese Materials Societies.
In particular, two symposia dedicated to CARBON NANOTUBES and GRAPHENE and to CARBON CONTAINING COMPOSITES and MATERIALS are planned.
The scope of the conference covers practically the whole spectra of Materials and Applications with about 50 symposia running in parallel. This series of conferences gathers typically 1 500 participants from among researchers working at the boundary between academic, applied and industrial research.
