Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated in the Hotel Galles (Via del Castro Pretorio, 66) and Hotel Madison (Via Marsala 60) both part of the elegant Prince House Hotels Groups. For more information, please see the hotel website (link to http://www.phh.it/).
Both hotels are at a short walking distance from the venue. You will find a route description from the hotels to the venue in the enclosed map.
Hotel Galles is represented by the red 'stop' symbol; Hotel Madison by the green 'play' button. The venue is indicated by the yellow arrow.
Dinners
The welcome dinner on 11 December will take place at Restaurant l’Idea (Tel. 06 4457722, http://www.tourvisa.it/) which is close to Hotel Galles and situated on the same street on viale Castro Pretorio n° 70, the hotel being at n° 66. Dinner will start at 08:00 p.m.
The farewell dinner on 14 December will be at Restaurant Gusto on Piazza Augusto Imperatore, 28 (Tel. 06 68134221, http://www.gusto.it/).
Transportation by bus has been arranged from the conference venue to the restaurant. Participants will be picked up straight after the closing of the conference.
How to get to the conference site
Air Travel: Rome has two major, international airports: Leonardo da Vinci - still frequently known by its old name, Fiumicino - for scheduled flights and Ciampino which handles mainly charter flights and business aviation.
From the airport, please continue to Termini railway station. Here you will find detailed information on how to get from the airport to Termini station.
The conference site and the hotels are within short walking distance from Termini railway station. In the above map (under “accommodation”) you will find the Termini railway station, the venue and the hotels indicated.
